Using new trends and technologies to enhance digital storytelling around McDonald’s balanced menu options is also a key driver behind the brand’s endeavors.  Prior to McDonald’s, Rick was Vice President of digital and social media for GolinHarris in Chicago where he implemented digital-communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, and Dow.  Rick is also a former reporter, proud graduate from the University of Illinois, beer snob, Cub fan and lover of the McRib.

Dave Fleet

Based in Toronto, Dave Fleet leads a North America-wide team providing integrated social media services within Edelman’s Digital practice. Prior to joining Edelman, Dave developed and executed strategic and social media communications programs on the agency side for some of North America’s largest organizations, prior to which he worked in strategic communications in the public sector. An award-winning communicator with both public and private sector experience, Dave holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Dx3 Digital Trade Show and Conference.

Katie Richman

Katie is a Director of Social Media Strategy for ESPN Digital Media, and she is part of the startup team building ESPN’s new espnW women’s sports business from the inside up. Before espnW, Katie held roles in ESPN’s live Event Production department, with 2 years in X Games and Winter X Games production management. The travel was nice. Katie started her career in 2001 at MTV Networks Brand Creative. She went on to Oxygen Media in the startup days and had some crazy reality TV stints with Fabio.
